What are Spicules?

Spicules are a revolutionary new ingredient in the world of aesthetics, a natural resurfacing, an extremely effective and eco-friendly non-invasive biostimulation.

They are derived from marine sponges, reduced to a fine, white powder after a purification process. The micro-needles (180-250 microns in length, 10-20 microns in width) stimulate skin regeneration, collagen production, and the absorption of active ingredients, making the skin healthier and more radiant.

When applied, these micro-needles gently penetrate the outermost layer; this process, known as microneedling, accelerates cell turnover by improving the delivery of active ingredients.

Main Ingredients

Hydrolyzed Sponge + Hexapeptide-8

Spicules combined with a biomimetic peptide act on the neuromuscular junction by inhibiting muscle contraction mechanisms, a botox-like peptide. This effect results in the relaxation of superficial wrinkles, reducing their volume and depth.

Hydrolyzed Sponge + Arbutin + Niacinamide

Spicules linked to two extremely functional active ingredients. The first counteracts dischromia by reducing spots with a brightening effect. The second helps reduce enlarged pores, redness, and irregularities for smoother, more even, and firmer skin.

Soothing Active

Obtained through biotechnology from a microorganism isolated in the thermal waters of the Amalfi Coast. In addition to its immediate soothing and desensitizing action, it guarantees anti-aging and glowing effects by counteracting aging.

Upcycling Moisturizing Complex

Derived from the processing of Sicilian ash. Thanks to the combined treatment of enzymes and ferments, we obtain an enriched phytocomplex with enhanced antioxidant and amino acid components, both essential for skin well-being.

How Do I Apply?
PHASE I – Cleansing

Cleanse the skin using the most suitable product from the Cleansing line.

PHASE II – Exfoliation

Pour the Mandelic acid into a bowl and apply it to the face, neck, and décolleté with a fan brush. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse.

PHASE III – Toning

Tone skin with Toning Spray.

PHASE IV – Vial Application

Apply Spicule Serum to the face, neck, and décolleté and massage in linear motions until fully absorbed.

PHASE V – Mask Application

Apply the Gel Mask to the face, neck, and décolleté. Leave on for 10 minutes. Massage the mask and pat away any excess.

PHASE VI – Protection

Apply Sunshield SPF50 sunscreen.
